Hospital me infection ka risk naturally high hota hai, isliye infection control protocols critical hote hain – hand hygiene, sterilisation, isolation wards, waste disposal, ventilation standards, etc.

Jab patients hospital-acquired infection se suffer karte hain, specially avoidable ones, to negligence ka question uth sakta hai. Courts dekhte hain:

  • Kya standard guidelines follow ki gayi,
  • Staff properly trained tha,
  • Audits, logs, and incident reports maintained the,
  • Outbreak pe timely action hua.

Sab complications negligence nahi, lekin pattern of repeated lapses, dirty wards, reusable disposables, ya completely missing protocols strong case bana sakte hain.

Hospitals ke liye infection control sirf compliance item nahi; reputation aur medico-legal risk dono directly linked hain. Patients ke relatives simple cheezon pe nazar rakh sakte hain – gloves use, sanitiser availability, linen cleanliness – aur concern ho to document karke flag kar sakte hain.
