Regulation of Alternative Medicine and Cross-Practice

Ayurveda, homeopathy, naturopathy, unani, yoga – yeh sab alternative / traditional systems officially recognised ho sakte hain, lekin unke practitioners ka scope of practice usually defined hota hai.

Problem tab hoti hai jab koi ek discipline ka doctor doosri field ka treatment aggressively karne lage – jaise complex allopathic surgeries without proper training, ya hardcore modern drugs use karna without qualification.

Law cross-pathy pe increasingly strict ho raha hai – patients ko misrepresentation se bachane ke liye. Advertising rules bhi important hain; miracle cure, guaranteed results, or “cancer 100% theek” type claims red flag hain.

Patients ko apne doctor ki qualification, registration, and treatment system clearly samajh ke hi decision lena chahiye. Mix and match sometimes helpful ho sakta hai, par safety aur evidence base ko compromise nahi karna chahiye.
